Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time

Sony announced that the new Ratchet & Clank will be available for the Playstation 3 this fall. It will continue the storyline from Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and the downloadable Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty. The game will follow Ratchet as he attempts to save his robotic sidekick. To up the ante, Sony promises to reveal both their origins and ultimate destinies during the course of the game. This just might be the biggest breakup since Ice Cube left N.W.A….

A Crack in Time will include the series’ signature focus on creative weaponry, with developer Insomniac Games currently running a contest to design a part of the game’s new arsenal. In addition to having his or her weapon included in the game, the contest winner will get a life-size replica and a trip to meet the development team and unveil the weapon at the San Diego Comic-Con.
