Reel 2 Reel: The Reason Why 2012 Already Pwned 2011
This could’ve been a “The Comic Rack” post but technically, it’s all about the movies…
It’s one thing to have one major picture to come out in a year. This year, although has beaten up the box office records something fierce, will be labeled a dissappointment in terms of actual hits. Yes, Harry Potter is a monster, but really – who didn’t know that? Thor, Green Lantern, Sucker Punch have all been mediocre at best. I’m praying that Cowboys and Aliens kicks ass. Captain America has been reviewed as a very good summer movie but it’s getting far more love because of it’s after-the-credits mega trailer (and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, Google it), and really – do we give a crap about anything else right now, movie wise? When Fast Five is your breakout surprise hit, it’s been a sad movie year.
So, excuse me if this has got me all amped for 2012…

Plus The Avengers… OMG, 2012 is gonna fuckin’ rock!!!!
But X-Men First Class was pretty good! Green Lantern… when even the trailer makes me groan the movie must be superbad. No way I’m going to watch that.
